Week 14 of the 2012 regular season is already upon us, and the fantasy playoffs are beginning for a majority of the leagues out there. Fantasy owners must know if their top stars will suit up.

Many of the NFL’s top stars are banged up, and fantasy football owners must start formulating backup plans for the potential inactives. Now is not the time to be taking unnecessary chances.

We have all the news you need for your fantasy team or your favorite NFL squad, so keep it here for all the latest updates as they break.

Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England Patriots

Status: Out

While's Albert Breer reported that Gronkowski was eyeing this game as a possible return at the time of his injury, this is not the case and he is on this week's list of inactive players. Unsurprisingly, the Patriots have been unwilling to share details on the star tight end's progress, and with the AFC East already wrapped up, the team has little incentive to risk any further injury to Gronkowski.

Darren McFadden, RB, Oakland Raiders

Status: Active

According to Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times, the Oakland Raiders believe that despite star running back Darren McFadden re-injuring his ankle Thursday night, he should be a go for Week 15.

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Status: Active

The Pittsburgh Steelershave had star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger running the first-team offense all week, so fantasy owners and Steelers fans rejoice, he is officially active for Sunday.

Percy Harvin, WR, Minnesota Vikings

Status: Out (moved to Injured Reserve)

According to Fox Sports North, the Minnesota Vikings have put star wide receiver Percy Harvin on the IR with a high-ankle sprain that was not healing fast enough. The team was smart to make this move now and save the young star for the future.

LeSean McCoy, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Status: Out

Geoff Mosher of Comcast SportsNet is reporting that Philadelphia Eagles star running back LeSean McCoy is still dealing with concussion symptoms and has not been cleared to play this week.

Jordy Nelson, WR, Green Bay Packers

Status: Inactive

After missing practice all week, the Green Bay Packers have officially listed wide receiver Jordy Nelson as out (h/t CBS Sports) for Sunday’s matchup with the Detroit Lions.
