Toronto Maple Leafs Still Have a Shot at the Playoffs

Somehow the Toronto Maple Leafs keep finding ways to win.

Pavel Kubina, a player the Leafs had attempted to cast off, scored goals in both games against Philadelphia.  He has continued to play very well since then.

Now Matt Stajan and Alex Steen have turned into Mats Sundin and Nik Antropov by taking the team on their collective backs and carrying them towards the postseason.

Plain and simple, in order to make the playoffs the Leafs have to run the table the rest of the way.

Their chances of making the playoffs are around five percent, meaning they are not good.  But as the New York Giants have taught us, anything is possible.

Vesa Toskala is going to have to stand on his head the rest of the way. Mats Sundin is going to have to become the "six billion dollar man" by healing quickly in the next few days. And Paul Maurice is going to have to become Scotty Bowman overnight.

But hey, anything can happen, right?
