St. Louis Rams vs. Buffalo Bills Preview and Predictions

When the St. Louis Rams and Buffalo Bills face off in Week 14, both teams will looking to take down one of the most winnable opponents left on their schedule. The playoffs may be out of reach, but a strong finish to the season could seriously set the table next year for both of these squads.

The Rams (5-6-1) have been better than many expected in Jeff Fisher's first year and are coming off of the game of their season after beating the same San Francisco 49ers team they played to a tie earlier in the season. While Sam Bradford still needs more weapons (and protection) and we're probably seeing the downward slope of anything Steven Jackson has left, the defense has helped carry the load.

The Bills (5-7) are still searching for relevance in the AFC East after trying to buy it outright with a tremendous offseason. While many counted them out early, they've won two of their last three and could make some noise with three of their last four games at home. While not mathematically eliminated in the weak AFC, they're probably going to be watching the playoffs from their couches. How comfortably Chan Gailey and his staff are able to set (read: how hot their seats are) will directly correlate with how they finish the season.
