The Denver Broncos won't be backing into the playoffs this year. Nope, it's through the front door for the Broncos this season and the Oakland Raiders are just a speed bump along the way.
Harsh? Maybe, but it's closer to a sad reality for Raiders fans than a flight of fancy for Broncos fans.
The Broncos' one glaring weakness at this point has to be their lack of a running game and this game presents a perfect opportunity to get things in order in that regard. Peyton Manning is obviously one of the greats of all time, but heading into the playoffs with a running game this ineffective is a ticket to One and Done City.
With practice time during the season allowing such limited work in pads, this game against the Raiders gives the Broncos the best chance they'll have to sharpen their technique and work on running the football, regardless of who the running back is.
I bring this up in the video above and Josh Zerkle, most likely like you, thinks I'm nuts. We also look at some of the other storylines surrounding the game and give our picks.
