Watch Romeo Crennel's Emotional Postgame Locker Room Speech

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Carolina Panthers by a score of 27-21 at home Sunday, and it was an emotional scene in the team's locker room after the game.

The team's second victory of the year came just one day after linebacker Jovan Belcher murdered his on-again, off-again girlfriend and mother of his child and then went to Arrowhead Stadium and killed himself in front of head coach Romeo Crennel, general manager Scott Piolli and other team personnel.

It was an all-around team win for the Chiefs, a team that hasn't won a game since Week 3. Brady Quinn threw two touchdown passes, Jamaal Charles ran for 127 yards, Peyton Hillis scored a rushing touchdown, and the team's defense did just enough to keep Cam Newton from winning the game in the fourth quarter.

Crennel's postgame speech was an emotionally charged message, as he congratulated his team for relying on family and friends, teammates and faith to get through the tragic circumstances and come out better for it.
