The Indianapolis Colts beat the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Week 13 by a score of 35-33.
The legend of Andrew Luck continues to swell.
Luck led the visiting Colts on two touchdown drives with less than three minutes remaining in the game, hitting LaVon Brazil to pull to within five points, and then Donnie Avery to go ahead by two with just three seconds left on the game clock.
Luck finished the day with 391 yards, throwing four touchdowns and three interceptions.
Fellow rookie Vick Ballard pitched in with 62 total yards and an 11-yard touchdown run.
Matthew Stafford threw for 313 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the loss, hitting Calvin Johnson 13 times for 171 yards and a touchdown.
Mikel Leshoure and Joique Bell combined for 138 yards and one touchdown on the ground for the Lions.
In the end, the Lions just couldn't stop Luck from making plays when it counted.
The Colts improved to 8-4 on the season and will host the Tennessee Titans in Week 14, while the Lions fell to 4-8 and will travel to face the Green Bay Packers next Sunday night.
