Miami Dolphins vs. San Francisco 49ers Preview and Predictions

The San Francisco 49ers are glad that they don't have to see the Rams again in 2012 as they prepare to take on a Miami Dolphins team that is all but out of the playoff race.

That's not to say this won't be a tough game for the Niners, because it no doubt will be. The Dolphins are tough on defense and have a running game that should be able to shorten the game a bit and keep them in it.

But you have to think the 49ers will get back on track on offense, after a 16-13 overtime loss to the Rams in overtime Sunday, and will end up taking advantage of a Dolphins offensive line that will be without starter Jake Long (even though Long has been underwhelming in 2012, to say the least). The Dolphins lost by a 23-16 score to the Patriots in Week 13.

In the video above, we look at some of the biggest matchups, including a disagreement between Matt Miller and I when it comes to the handling of the starting quarterback position in San Francisco and give our picks for the game.

Let us know in the comments below what you'll be watching for and who you think is going to win the game.
