Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings: Preview & Predictions

Andrew GardaFeatured ColumnistDecember 3, 2012

The Minnesota Vikings get another shot at an NFC North rival, and this time at home. The Chicago Bears are banged up and coming off a tough loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

There's a lot on the line for these teams, including possible playoff berths.

You have to imagine that the Vikings keep the ball out of Christian Ponder's hands and run Adrian Peterson until his drops. The Bears couldn't stop him before and he won't be easier to contain this coming week either.

Some people have said Adrian Peterson should be on the ballot for MVP, but there's another guy who will be on the field come Sunday.

Jay Cutler, like Peterson, is tremendously valuable to his team. In fact, we've had evidence recently as to how hard it is for this team to win without him.

Cutler and Peterson will be keys to this game, but players on both sides who we might not expect have to step up as well.

Aaron Nagler, Matt Miller and I break down what we see for this game.
