Plans For The ECW Championship at Wrestlemania 25!

David BowstonCorrespondent IMarch 22, 2009

I was scanning around the wrestling rumor sites just minutes ago and I came across an article that intrigued me. Plans for the ECW title at WM 25.

I went into the link and was shocked to see one sentence in particular "There aren't any." This was of course referring to the plans that Vince has made for the title. The article did say it could be thrown together at the last minute or in a dark match.

Dark matches are alright, but I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a dark match were a title has been changed. Apart from Miz and Morrison winning the tag titles.

It goes on to say that if there had of been a match for the title, Jack Swagger would have been defending against Evan Bourne. This is a huge blow to me because I was really starting to believe Evan would win at WM.

All I have said to myself waiting for his return is "Its alright, he'll get the belt at Wrestlemania." That alone has kept me from going insane from lack of Evan and now I read this?

This is also a huge slap to the face of ECW. The ECW Championship is supposed a main title, along with the WWE and the World Heavyweight Championships and it isn't even being defended at The Grandaddy of 'em All?
