Villanova kocks off the upset bid of Siena, winning 84-72.

It was the play of Scottie Reynolds  that made the difference in the game. The sophomore guard shot 5/6 from the field en route to 17 first half points and leading Villanova into the dressing room up by ten, 42-32. Reynolds added eight more in the second half finishing with 25 to propel Villanova to the Sweet 16.

Freshman Corey Stokes had an equally impressive game, scoring 20 points on 8/12 shooting

I would be doing a great disservice by not mentioning how great Villanova's defense was throughout the entire game. The Wildcat's swarming defense held the upstart Siena offense to 35.7 % shooting from the field (20-56).

The Wildcats move on to the Sweet 16 where they will face off against a highly favored Kansas squad in Detroit.

Can Reynolds create more drama in the Motor City and lift the Wildcats to the elite eight? Only time will tell. But as for now, the Wildcats remain dancing.
