Wisconsin 70, Nebraska 31 -- Final
The Wisconsin Badgers (8-5) destroyed the Nebraska Cornhuskers (10-3) by 39 points Saturday night, winning the Big Ten title game 70-31 to clinch a spot in the Rose Bowl.
Montee Ball rushed for 202 yards on 21 carries, including three touchdowns against the Cornhuskers. Ball wasn't even the leading rusher on his team, though, as Melvin Gordon averaged 24 yards on nine carries for 216 total, including a touchdown on the ground.
In all, the Badgers rushed for 539 yards on Saturday night. Wisconsin also scored eight rushing touchdowns, a school record for touchdowns on the ground for Wisconsin and a school record for rushing touchdowns allowed by Nebraska.
Nebraska's Taylor Martinez struggled, completing just 52 percent of his passes for 184 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. He did rush for 140 yards and two scores, but that didn't make much of a difference in the blowout loss.
