Kevin Glenn, who was recently released by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, has signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Glenn has played eight seasons in the CFL, for the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2001-2003), and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2004-2008).

He has also been a member of the Toronto Argonauts where he spent about four hours after being traded by the Roughriders.

He was then traded to Winnipeg.

Glenn had become expendable after the acquisition of former Louisville quarterback Stefan LeFors.

LeFors is expected to be the starter over former NFL quarterbacks Ryan Dinwiddie and Bryan Randall.

Glenn will head to Hamilton where he was recently rumored to be traded to, to be a backup to youngster Quinton Porter.

However the backup job is not guaranteed since the Tiger-Cats also have Josh Betts, Erik Meyer, Adam Tafralis, and Richie Williams on the roster.

Betts had been a member of the Indianapolis Colts from 2006-2008 and so was Tafralis in 2008.

Meyer spent 2006 with Cincinnati, 2007 with Seattle and 2008 with Oakland.

Williams has never played for anyone except Hamilton.
