COLLEGE STATION — One year ago this Saturday, Mike Sherman received a cellphone call telling him he'd no longer coach Texas A&M. In the Twitter age, word spreads as fast as someone types the words slipping from an insider's lips. So university brass, with the decision made and word leaked, called Sherman while he was on the road recruiting.
