Mets third baseman David Wright isn't going anywhere. After several days of serious negotiations, the Mets have re-signed Wright to a seven-year, $122-million contract extension, reports WFAN's Ed Coleman. Throw in his $16-million salary for 2013, and Wright will be locked up through the 2020 season at a total cost of $138 million. All of that means that, in terms of total-dollar commitment, Wright's final year plus extension will exceed Johan Santana's six-year, $137.5-million pact.
