The domestic-violence charges against former Brewers reliever Francisco Rodriguez have been dropped, Bruce Vielmetti of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.

In September, Rodriguez was arrested on charges he injured his girlfriend during a dispute. However, Waukesha County prosecutors have opted not to move forward both because of an inability to meet the burden of proof and also because Rodriguez's girlfriend and a witness to the alleged incident are believed to be back in Venezuela.
