The Bolts Look Promising Headed into Draft

The San Diego Chargers are charging into the '09 draft, on the right foot.

With Darren Sproles backing up a healthy LT and Merriman returning on the defensive side of the ball, the Chargers are making the right moves.

Now, if there is anybody who still thinks the Chargers should draft a running back, go get your head checked.

Tomlinson + Sproles = No reason to draft a running back.

We got Jacob Hester last year. We have depth at running back. Look elsewhere for improvement.

As far as the first pick for the Chargers, I think we should go with Tyson Jackson.

Losing Igor Olshansky will be a hard fill, but Jackson has the tools to get it done.

At 6'5, 296 pounds, he is nothing short of a monster. With a combination of size, strength and speed that few DE have, it's no wonder he's been called a "defensive freak" by ESPN.

Even though his numbers dwindled a little at the end of his career, his sheer talent and potential, makes Jackson an excellent choice.
