Conventional wisdom has always been defense doesn’t win fantasy championships.
This year a combination of awful QB play and ball-hawking defenders has produced a slough of 20-point defensive performances. Considering how routinely position players have been throwing up single digit fantasy weeks, suddenly choosing the right defense can be the difference between an L and a W.
Week 14 provides a perfect storm of sorts in Seattle, with Ryan Lindley and the anemic Cardinals passing game heading to the Hawks’ Nest to face a hungry Seattle defense.
Ryan Lindley in three games has 0 TD’s, six turnovers and seven sacks. It’s gotten so bad that Cardinals fans are desperately hoping Kevin Kolb, the loser of a QB battle to John Skelton, will ride back in and save the passing game.
