The internet was abuzz earlier in the week with rumors that WWE wrestler Glen Jacobs, a.k.a. Kane, got into a brawl with UFC fighter Tim Sylvia in a Detroit bar. The reports said Sylvia suffered a broken nose and a black eye at the hands of Jacobs.

Jacobs recently told the UK newspaper The Sun that the reports are totally false.

"I was sitting at home at the time and someone told me – that was the first I’d heard about it.

"I hear I handled it pretty well though. I’m happy with myself!

"I’m pretty sure Tim won’t hold a grudge though."

A WWE spokesman had also issued a story saying the rumors were untrue and, according to The Sun piece, friends of both Jacobs and Sylvia deny that either man was even in Detroit at the time.
