It’s been a strange season in the Big Ten.
Thanks to NCAA sanctions, the Badgers once again back in the Big Ten Championship Game, very much alive for a Rose Bowl berth at 7-5.
And while their record isn’t ideal, they have been playing better of late and come off back-to-back overtime losses against both Ohio State and Penn State—the two teams ranked above them in their division.
Nebraska, meanwhile, has quietly taken care of business, and its 10-2 record was a very solid step in the right direction. If quarterback Taylor Martinez isn’t throwing interceptions—and that is still a big if despite his dramatic improvement—this team can be very tough to beat. Nebraska's defense is improved, and its running game is finally healthy.
