Seattle Seahawks fullback Leonard Weaver and the Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly close to a one-year, $1.75 million deal.

The contract has incentives that could make it $2.5 million. Although other teams offered more, Weaver said he felt more comfortable with the Eagles' offense, according to ESPN.com.

Weaver ran for 130 yards on 30 rushes and zero touchdowns last year. He joined Seattle in 2005; the versatile 26-year-old caught 39 passes in 2007 and had 33 rushing attempts that year as well.
