My reactions from Barcelona vs Alaves coming up after the game on @br_soccer as my first article in my trial as a Barcelona FC

90'—Barcelona have a couple of near-goals after some decent runs from Deulofeu, but nothing comes of it.
Thiago has played 4 different positions in this match. CF (false 9), LW, LCM, CDM. #Multitalented

For the first time since returning from injury, Villa will play the full 90 minutes.

84'—Alaves thrice get close to getting another goal on the counter, but each time a cross is hit either back toward midfield or out of play for a corner.
79'—Final Barca sub
Manuel Pinto will now captain Barcelona for about 12 minutes as Carles Puyol hands him the arm band on his way to the bench.
Cesc Fabregas come on for the defender which should see Alex Song move into the central defensive role and Sergi Roberto becoming the holder.
78'—Deulofeu is trying a bit too hard here and acting too selfishly.
He continues to just run at defenders, trying to beat them on either side, rather than passing the ball off with teammates in space.
Clearly he wants to make a big impact and his immaturity is showing.

Carles Planas makes his debut for the first team!!! No doubt will be the backup for Alba and Montoya in coming years.
— Tre Atkinson (@TreAtkinson) November 28, 2012
73'—Barca sub
Carlos Planas comes on for Adriano with just under 20 minutes left.
Fans are excited to see the young full-back, but also give a loud round of applause for Adriano.
Updates around Spain
Valencia's Adil Rami has scored the goal of the week in Valencia's Copa del Rey match.

Min 66: Double sub for Alavés: Luismi for Guzmán and Barahona for Viguera. #FCBLive
— FC Barcelona (@FCBarcelona) November 28, 2012
66'—First subs
Alaves goal-scorer Vigeura is taken off for Asier Barahona while Gerard Deulofeu finally comes on, and for Dos Santos.
This should see Deulofeu play on the left with Villa in the central attacking role.
Roberto and Thiago will now be more restricted to the midfield.
Also what a great ball over te top from @thi_alcantara91 and very unselfish play from @ctello91 to guarentee the goal! #beautiful #barca

More on the goal
Villa has used his first goal as inspiration for a quick second as he puts the game out of reach.
Tello took a ball after he might have been offside, but gets behind the defense and lays the ball off for Villa to slot home.
This is El Guaje's 300th professional goal and third of this tie.
59'—GOOOL VILLA!!!
