With both Tottenham and Liverpool coming off of drastically different games, they'll be leaning on their strikers to open up this match.

Tottenham enters this one 6-5-2, coming off a 3-1 win over West Ham.

Liverpool is 3-3-7 on the season, with their offensive woes once again surfacing against Swansea in their latest 0-0 match.

Here's all you need to know about this Premier League match.

Where: White Hart Lane, London

When: Wednesday, November 28 at 2:40 p.m. ET

Live Stream:

Tottenham player to watch: Jermain Defoe

Jermain Defoe comes into this game about as hot as you can get. The striker is coming off a double against West Ham in the Spurs' latest 3-1 Premier League win.

Defoe's average of 0.54 goals a game in 2012-2013 is his best career mark in the Premier League.

Liverpool is relying on their defense to keep them in games, as evidenced by their most recent 0-0 match against Swansea. Not to mention, the Reds haven't scored a goal in their last three matches with the Spurs.

But Tottenham needs a win here, not a draw. That means it could fall on Defoe to once again break open the game.

Liverpool player to watch: Luis Suarez

This one should be easy. Not only is the striker the leading scorer for the Reds, he also leads the Premier League in goals scored.

The often controversial Luis Suarez has been having a great season for Liverpool. Not only has he seemed to tone down the controversy, but he's also playing at a very high level.

Suarez enters this game with 10 goals and two assists in 13 matches. If the Reds want to avoid another zero-goal effort against the Spurs, they'll need their striker at his best.

Prediction: Tottenham 2, Liverpool 1

After being shutout in their last match, expect Liverpool to come out with a mission in mind: to score a goal.

But their attack remains too unbalanced.

Tottenham has dominated these teams' last three matchups and should have no problems finding another win with a hot Defoe.
