Greg Biffle will not race in Saturday's Nationwide Series race after suffering a rib injury while boating with some friends.

Biffle's X-Ray's were negative but his ribs are bruised. According to Biffle, he jumped from the deck of the boat onto the dock. He slipped when his foot made contact with a wet spot.

That resulted in the right side of his body hitting the boat.

Matt Kenseth will substitute for Biffle in the Nationwide Series event where he sits third in points.

Biffle is still scheduled to race on Sunday in the Food City 500.

He is currently sitting 10th in points.
