They might be Giants, but they've been pretty inconsistent this season. Which version of the team will show up in Washington on Monday night?
The Washington Redskins (5-6) have enjoyed almost every bit of the ride delivered from rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III. Griffin's arm and legs have propelled the Redskins back into national relevance. While the defense may not be performing at a championship level, the offense has impressed, and Griffin stands a puncher's chance at outgunning whatever opposition he faces through the duration of the season.
The New York Giants (7-4) seem to have postponed their regularly scheduled holiday lull. After routinely falling into a late-season skid, Big Blue got nasty in Week 12 and demolished the Green Bay Packers. Five different Giants registered touchdowns in the win, with quarterback Eli Manning distributing three of those. Also in the G-Men's favor is their performance in a Week 7 home victory over the Redskins.

Correction: An earlier version of this article stated that the Giants lost to the Redskins in Week 7 and listed their record as 8-3. New York won that game by a 27-23 score, and its current record is 7-4.
