One team will be looking to take it to the next level while another looks to stop their backslide as the Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers face off in NFL Week 13.
The Bengals (6-5) have an opening in the weak AFC and are looking more and more like legit playoff contenders every week. Andy Dalton has found ways to utilize receivers not named A.J. Green, and that underrated defense is becoming more and more recognized each week. Marvin Lewis is doing he annual routine of "just enough to keep my job," and he could get his latest young team into the playoffs.
The Chargers (4-7) don't have those same hopeful aspirations, as "#FireNorv" has become the cry of the Chargers' fanbase (what's left of them, after years of Turner's ineptitude), and A.J. Smith has run this team into the ground.
Each week, it seems, players Smith has let walk end up starring in other cities. The defense (especially against the run) can keep the Chargers in games, but Philip Rivers, Ryan Mathews and the rest of the offense has been a giant disappointment.
So, who wins in Week 13?
