There might be only one guy in the Bay Area who is unhappy Colin Kaepernick looked as good as he did against the Bears and Saints.
Alex Smith aside, the former Nevada quarterback has given the Niners an interesting dimension that Smith couldn't, and the team seems to be fired up by his presence in the huddle.
Last time out, the Rams lit this defense up for almost 300 yards passing, and Sam Bradford had one of his best games.
This Niners team isn't the same group, though, and it's just started peaking. The defense has bounced back from some rough games, and with the added versatility of Kaepernick, the Rams are facing a much different team.
For the Rams, the season is just about over. But they always play hard, and if they can attack the Niner secondary, they've got a shot.
How do the Rams do that? How do the Niners stop them?
Josh Zerkle, Matt Miller and I have the answers in this video.
