Asked after Friday’s 104-97 victory in Indiana to assess the mercurial state of Manu Ginobili, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich could only shrug.

Ginobili followed an awful first half with an awesome second, finishing with 19 points and having a significant hand in the Spurs’ rally from 17 down to escape Bankers Life Fieldhouse with a win.
