Boise State Broncos Hold Their First Scrimmage

It’s official: the Boise State Broncos held their first scrimmage, and according to Coach Petersen, these guys are going to get into shape as soon as spring break is over.
Of course, Pete is a funny guy, but he certainly takes his football seriously.
For the most part, the kids looked a little rough around the edges, as some of the tackling looked like three guys trying to snap a wishbone. Still, we are so glad nothing snapped.
It was good to see Titus Young back out on the Blue, and he is looking very good and very fast. As a matter of fact, when Kellen Moore finally came out for his turn at QB, his first pass was to Titus.
That’s right, and it wasn’t a twenty yarder like he was accustomed to throwing last year. No, this was a bomb all the way down-field, and though it wasn’t tight by any means, it was on the money.
There is no doubt that Young's speed and Moore's arm will hook up regularly this season. Practice scrimmage was entertaining but offered realistic expectations.
There will be another scrimmage before the Blue and Orange game on April 17th. It is expected that the coaches will have the players completely ready and conditioned by then.
So here we go, Bronco fans, the countdown continues. Go Broncos!
