Cowboys Corner: Scandrick Hopes to Play Despite Fractured Hand

Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick said the sustained a spiral fracture in his left hand, as well as pain in his wrist, during Thursday’s 38-31 loss to the Washington Redskins. Scandrick, who primarily covers the slot receiver in Dallas’ nickel package, is unsure about the timetable for a possible return.
“If there’s any way I can play, I’ll be back,” Scandrick said, adding that he “instantly felt” pain in the arm when it happened but was not sure was caused the break. “My hand has a spiral fracture. But I’m having some pain in my wrist and I don’t know what that is.”
