Phil Jackson had a heart-to-heart chat with the Lakers at Wednesday's light workout in hopes of refocusing them for the rest of the regular season.

Jackson didn't reveal the specifics of that chat, but you can bet a good portion of it centered on the theme of team play.

"We have some disgruntledness on the team because their own personal game isn't going well, and they have to break out of that," he said.
"You usually see it on the offensive end. If things don't go well offensively, they're open, something happens, they turn it over, that next move - that hustle move that you respond with defensively is not there. They're still playing that last play that they're unhappy about."

It's fairly safe to assume much of that is alluding to the second unit, which has been unable to regain the mojo it had early in the season before Lamar Odom moved into the starting lineup after Andrew Bynum got hurt.
