Edelman is reportedly present at the New England Patriots' full pads practice, just six days after suffering a head injury against the Jets, according to ESPN Boston's Mike Rodak.

It's unknown if he's participating in all drills as he recovers from a brutal hit suffered on Thanksgiving night.

As per Rodak's report, this is a positive sign that the wide receiver will be back in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

We'll keep you updated right here with any further updates or breaking news on Edelman's return.

The Patriots wide receiver was on the receiving end of a scary hit, and as Christopher Price of WEEI.com reports, Edelman has sustained a head injury.

Per the Patriots, Julian Edelman has left the game with a head injury. His return is questionable.

Edelman was evaluated on the sideline for a while after the hit, but eventually went to the locker room when the staff deemed his status as questionable.

As serious as the NFL has become about issues surrounding concussions, the Patriots will need to be careful in bringing Edelman back to play.

Edelman has been a serious player in the Patriots' offense this season and will be missed if he is forced to sit out an extended amount of time. Before being knocked out of the game, Edelman recorded two receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown.

With Rob Gronkowski already out, the Patriots were already one man down in the passing game and will need to adjust once against with the injury to Edelman.
