According to ESPN, Austin "is expected to recover from hip and back injuries to play Sunday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, a source told ESPN's Ed Werder."

That's good news for Dallas as it tries to thwart the struggling Eagles. Philadelphia's secondary didn't look good in Monday night's loss to the Carolina Panthers, so having Austin on the outside will make Tony Romo's job even easier.

Fox Sports Southwest's Matt Mosley tweeted the news:

Austin sustained the injury during the first quarter of the Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day game against the Redskins. At this point, it's unclear how long the injury will keep Austin out of action.

The Cowboys certainly hope that Austin will return soon—he's been an integral part of their offense with 49 receptions for 727 yards and four touchdowns on the season.

Miles missed six games in 2011 with injuries, so the Cowboys were hoping that he could have a relatively healthy 2012 campaign. While he's successfully avoided the injury bug to this point, it appears it might have struck again.
