Money, as the song goes, can’t buy you love. But it can clearly buy a successful football club.

Money and responsible spending rank among the biggest, most pressing issues in the modern game as football clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain continue to up the ante with their big-spending habits.

Chelsea and Manchester City have shown that heaps of money can lead to domestic and continental success, and PSG seem to be heading in the same direction.

But now for another question. Are these clubs, and others like them, being responsible?

In this video, B/R world football lead writers Michael Cummings and Will Tidey debate the most irresponsible clubs in world football. But Chelsea, Man City and PSG aren’t the only clubs here. Others make the list, but not everyone will agree with Will and Mike’s choices.
