Washington, DC—After meeting with ESPN’s Andy Katz to fill out his official Presidential Bracket, President Obama lamented to anyone standing around that he could’ve gone to a Division I school.

“I was good,” the President said.  "I had great court vision, I could drive the lane, and I had to I could spot up and shoot from anywhere.”

Obama has made his love for basketball no secret.  On the campaign trail he even played a pick-up game with members of the UNC men’s basketball team.

“I’m just as good as them!” Obama exclaimed.  "They think I’m an old man?  That I can’t ball?”

It’s apparent the NCAA tournament has made the President nostalgic.

“If only I had a better coach, more exposure, or I went to a better school.  I could have gone far, instead of stuck in this dead end job,” Obama said.

Aides told members of the press that the President would be unavailable for the rest of the afternoon due to meetings.

Philip Husk of NCAAHoopsInsider.com claimed that he saw the President crying while clutching a picture of his high school team.

“It’s not uncommon for most American males to have the delusional thought that they were great athletes,” said Dr. Michael Griffin of Harvard University.  "American males have it pretty much decided in their minds that thinking you are good at sports is all you need.”

Dr. Griffin is a top man in the field of sports psychology.  He is currently studying the link between ESPN and adult males claiming “I’m good enough to at least make it to AAA.”

Dr. Griffin concluded by saying, “Apparently being President of the United States does not make you immune to what we psychologists call Deshaun Stevenson disorder.”
