A horrible backcourt can absolutely cripple an NBA team.
These franchises have difficulty getting the ball down the court, stretching the floor, facilitating the offense, defending the opposition's guards and/or all of the above.
They definitely cannot hold a candle to the best backcourts in the league, but it would be nice if they could at least be somewhat reliable on a nightly basis.
