Running back Fred Jackson, who has been sidelined since suffering a concussion in the loss to New England on Nov. 11, was cleared to practice and was on the field Wednesday as Buffalo continued preparation for Sunday’s game in Indianapolis. However, coach Chan Gailey indicated that C.J. Spiller would be the starting running back against the Colts, a role that has been Jackson’s when he’s been healthy.
