When Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson are playing in the same game, it's difficult to prognosticate who the top fantasy receiver will be. Both Johnsons are coming off big games, but Andre's was one of the biggest in history.
He pulled down five receptions for 143 yards and a touchdown, but the Lions lost.
Which stud receiver will shine brightest in this game? I'd bet on Andre Johnson.
It's not because he's a better player than Megatron, but because the Lions' pass rush doesn't figure to apply as much pressure as the Texans'.
The Texans offer a more balanced attack with Arian Foster, and Andre Johnson should see more single coverage. Add to that the fact that he's looking as healthy and fast as I've seen him in over a year, and I'd say he should have another strong game.
Here are the other players that will produce a good amount of fantasy points.
Schaub had a near record-setting day himself against the Jaguars.
His 527 yards passing was the second-most in NFL history. He should be headed for another high yardage game against the Lions. He'll need to keep turnovers down in this one, though. He was picked off twice by the Jaguars, but that isn't too bad considering he had 55 pass attempts.
Titus Young's absence (ESPN) should negatively impact Matt Stafford's performance, so Schaub should have the better passing numbers.
Foster is really the key to everything the Texans do with the ball. He accounts for more than 25 percent of the team's offense. His versatility will easily dwarf the production from the capable but inconsistent Mikel Leshoure.
Leshoure has one 100-yard game this season, and his receptions have tailed off in the last four weeks. He's averaging just over one catch per game in that span; this is after he was pulling in four per game in the previous four contests.
Foster's 1,069 all-purpose yards is the 10th highest total in the league. He'll have another strong day against the Lions.
