Ann Arbor — Denard Robinson used his time away from the playing field to begin cultivating an interest in coaching.

Robinson, Michigan's senior quarterback who has started for three seasons, missed 2 1/2 games with an injury to the ulnar nerve in his right (throwing) arm before returning to start at tailback last Saturday against Iowa.

He will play in his final collegiate regular-season game at Ohio State on Saturday and coach Brady Hoke has left open who will start at quarterback. Devin Gardner has started the last three and led Michigan to victories in each...
