Breakout Fantasy Player for Week 12

It’s stretch-run time in the fantasy football season, which means time for a reality check.

Your year will not be saved by a lopsided trade with the guy who hasn’t looked as his lineup since Week 2—or by the rookie riding your bench finally transforming into Adrian Peterson.

Your team is what it is, the difference between a championship and the consolation bracket will be how you manage your lineup and if you are smart enough to take advantage of easy matchups.

More than ever, your knowledge of real football situations should dictate your fantasy strategy. Players on teams making a postseason push suddenly gain extra significance, while anyone going against a defense that has already packed it in for the year becomes a must-start situation.

Bleacher Report’s Owen Clark shows us which QB is set to explode against an awful defense in Week 12’s Fantasy Breakout Performer.
