Soccer's Laziest Players

Will TideySenior Manager, GlobalNovember 19, 2012

You don’t get anywhere without hard work. It’s a nice adage, but in the case of some of the world’s most famous footballers, it’s completely misleading.

In this clip, Bleacher Report lead writers Will Tidey and Michael Cummings debate suggestions for soccer’s laziest players.

We start the ball rolling—slowly—with Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez. Mike leans one way, Will the other. Which side do you stand on?

Dimitar Berbatov will be a predictable selection to those who’ve followed his career, but after his four-goal wonder show last week, many of you will dispute the inclusion of Zlatan Ibrahimovic for discussion.

And how about Lukas Podolski, Arsenal’s summer signing and a goalscorer against Spurs at the weekend? Is he really as lazy as some say he is?

As always, be sure to leave your comments below, along with any suggestions for players we should have included.
