Is Big Show the right man to hold the World Heavyweight Championship?  If history is any indicator, the answer would be an emphatic yes, as ratings and fan interest have been kind to talented big men who engage in lengthy title runs only to be brought down in David-and-Goliath fashion.

The Big Show’s world championship reign will be effective so long as it culminates in Sheamus eventually capturing the elusive world title. This way, fans will respect and accept him more as a world champion, knowing the hero's journey he had to complete in order to reach the promised land.

By chasing Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship, Sheamus is undoing all the ill-will brought against him from originally winning the title in 18 seconds at WrestleMania XXVIII against inadvertent fan favorite Daniel Bryan.

Big Show is a credible veteran who can easily carry a world championship, and when his run eventually comes to an end, an already established star in Sheamus will be fortified.
