According to reports from Spain, there is a lot of controversy about Vicente Del Bosque's refusal to call up Madrid legend, and one of the best players in the world, Raul Gonzalez to the Spain squad for the match against Turkey.

Spain and Turkey will play a double header later this month and at the beginning of April.

According to El Mundo Deportivo, Del Bosque wants to stick with the players that have given him success so far.

Former Besiktas coach Del Bosque wants to use Fernando Torres, David Villa, Fernando Llorente, and Fenerbahce's Dani Guiza as his strikers against Turkey.

While Raul is having one of his best seasons with Real Madrid, Guiza has had scoring problems with Fenerbahce.

On the other hand, Raul said he would love to be back in the national team, but he's not desperate. He even said all the controversy around the affair is such a bore.

This is good news for Fatih Terim and the Turkish National team ahead of next week's match.

That said, Terim has his own problems. A lot of players are injured, and, like Del Bosque, he cannot make up his mind as far as choosing his players.
