Staying fit requires dedication, focus and huge amounts of time. But the payoff is tremendous. Good health. Stamina. Strength. Speed. Elite performances. And those are all things we expect of our professional athletes.
But how many years can an athlete keep up such a grueling regimen? Few make it through their whole careers without slacking at least a little. Fewer still keep up their form in their retirement years.
