Senior day is supposed to be about honoring those players that stayed, that stuck around through wins and losses and made it to the other side as true Michigan men. While there were plenty of heartfelt remembrances on Saturday -- from the pregame ceremonies and Denard Robinson trotting out on the first offensive play to Vincent Smith taking a throwback screen to the house and Jordan Kovacs making yet another important third-down stop in the flat -- the game against the Iowa Hawkeyes felt as much like a look forward as anything.
