The NFC West is looking as competitive as the division ever has since the league realigned it in 2002. Two of its less-heralded clubs will put that improved reputation to the test this weekend.
The St. Louis Rams (3-6-1) have battled injuries to their stars. Quarterback Sam Bradford and wide receiver Danny Amendola have missed time, but returned to action and should be available for this weekend's game.
Head coach Jeff Fisher, who took 2011 off after his 17-season stint with the Tennessee Titans franchise, has the Rams fired up; they've consistently been a tough out for their opponents each week.
Arizona (4-6) gave Matt Ryan and the Falcons all they could handle in Week 11, intercepting the quarterback five times, only to lose a close game. After winning their first four games of the season, the Cardinals have lost their last six. And after losing to these same Rams in Week 5's Thursday night game, neither time nor experience is on their side as the Cardinals continue to fight for a postseason berth.
