Week 11 NFL Winners and Losers

Aaron Nagler@Aaron_NaglerNFL National Lead WriterNovember 18, 2012

Week 11 may be known as the week wide receivers stepped up. Andre Johnson, who's been up and down all year, pulled in 273 receiving yards, and the much-maligned Justin Blackmon almost set a rookie record with 236 yards. He fell only five yards shy of Jerry Rice, who has the single-game record for rookie receivers.

Matt Schaub, who threw the ball 55 times on Sunday was a fantasy owner's dream come true. He threw for 527 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Texans barely won in OT vs. the Jaguars.

For those who said RGIII hit a rookie wall, you were wrong. The Redskins rookie QB threw for a cool four touchdowns and is a big Week 11 winner.

On the losing side, the Eagles and Andy Reid keeps laying eggs. Philly dropped another one, losing to the Redskins 31-6, and have officially mailed it in.

Yes, Matt Ryan and the Falcons barely beat the Cardinals 23-19. But when you are supposed to be a strong MVP candidate, you don't throw for five interceptions and no touchdowns as Ryan did.

The Rams are also big Week 11 losers, as they had a chance to make a playoff move, but instead dropped a game to the Jets. Yes, those same Jets who spent all week (and year) deflecting rumors, saying how they are a cohesive unit, while at the same time pointing fingers at everyone, including you-know-who.
