Patrick Peterson Injury: Updates on Cardinals Star's Hamstring

Arizona Cardinals star cornerback Patrick Peterson was forced to leave Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons due to a hamstring injury.

Peterson later returned to the game, but this is something worth monitoring as hamstring injuries, depending on the severity, have a tendency to linger.
The second-year pro out of LSU not only has three interceptions to lead the Cardinals, but he's also a terrific weapon in the return game.
He's yet to take a punt for a touchdown this season, but he had four scores last year and has proven he's an incredibly dangerous weapon when he gets into open space.
For now, it seems that the Cards have avoided a major blow. We'll be sure to keep you updated on Peterson's status as more becomes known.
