The Kansas City Chiefs' season hasn't gone right in any way, shape or form. Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns was just another prime example.

UPDATE: Sunday, November 25 at 12:03 p.m. ET

Great news for Chiefs fans and fantasy owners as Dwayne Bowe is active for today's contest against the Denver Broncos, the team announced.

UPDATE: Friday, November 23, 12:02 p.m. ET by Rick Weiner

Adam Teicher, Chiefs' beat writer for the Kansas City Star, gives Chiefs fans something else to be thankful for during the extended Thanksgiving holiday weekend:

Crennel said he expects Bowe and Baldwin to play Sun. Said Lilja would practice today and Albert would try but unsure how much he would do

Bowe, who went without a catch for Kansas City in Week 11, will be a welcome sight for whoever lines up under center for the Chiefs on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, whether it be Matt Cassel or Brady Quinn.

According to Dave Skretta of the Associated Press, Dwayne Bowe was checked for a possible head injury during Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals:

Dwayne Bowe looks like he's getting check for possible head injury on #Chiefs sideline. Landed hard on head trying to make catch.

— Dave Skretta (@APdaveskretta) November 18, 2012

Skretta reports that Bowe went into the tunnel after being checked for the head injury:

And now Bowe has left the sideline and retreated up the tunnel. Still awaiting an official word on him. #Chiefs

Terrance Copper has replaced Bowe at wide receiver, according to Skretta:

And now Bowe has left the sideline and retreated up the tunnel. Still awaiting an official word on him. #Chiefs

According to Skretta, Bowe appeared on the sideline before the half without his helmet which would most likely mean his day is over:

And now Bowe has reappeared on sideline, but his helmet's been taken away. Which seems to indicate he's done for day. No official word yet.

Bowe didn't record a reception prior to his injury, and he was only targeted twice by quarterback Matt Cassel.

Kansas City currently trails Cleveland 21-6 at the half at Arrowhead Stadium.
