Injuries rock the balance of power in the NFL and fantasy leagues on a weekly basis, and it is nearly impossible to keep track of them all.

After all, football fans like me have to try and keep an eye on this while trying to watch our favorite team, tracking fantasy players, looking for upsets, eating chips with the right amount of dip and possibly going outside or doing something with the family.

We are here to help. Consider this one-stop shopping for Sunday's injuries. We're not going to cover minor injuries, where players are only temporarily out of the game, but anything that looks like it might linger will be covered.

Atlanta Falcons

Julio Jones

Jones was trying to play through an ankle injury, and he may have re-injured that same ankle.

AtlantaFalcons.com's Jay Adams:

No word yet on if it’s the same ankle that kept him out of practice all week, but we’ll have an update when available. - via Adams

Jones was not able to return.

UPDATE: Sunday, Nov. 18, at 10:05 p.m. ET by Ben Chodos

Dennis Pitta

The Baltimore Ravens lost one of their most potent offensive weapons early in their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Pitta has rapidly improved and has nearly equaled his totals in receptions and yardage from a season ago, but only managed one catch for five yards against Pittsburgh before being knocked out of game with a concussion, as the Ravens noted via their Twitter.

With Pitta out, Baltimore will look to Ed Dickson for increased production at the tight end position.

Steve Smith

The Charlotte Observer's Joe Person tweeted out some disturbing news for the Panthers.

However, Smith is a tough dude. So this tweet by Michael Fabiano of the NFL Network is no surprise.

Jonathan Stewart

The Panthers' official Twitter account hit us with this update:

Stewart has battled injuries, but he was able to reenter the game.

Cincinnati Bengals

Terrence Newman

Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson let us know that Newman picked up a concussion on Sunday.

If the official ruling is indeed that he has a concussion, he will have to go through the NFL's concussion protocol before returning to the field.

Tyron Smith

UPDATE: Monday, November 19, 8:30 a.m. ET by Donald Wood

The bad news for Dallas Cowboys star offensive lineman Tyron Smith continues as Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas is reporting that Smith’s ankle injury was in fact the dreaded high ankle sprain. No timetable for a return to the lineup has been set, but the star is very questionable for the Thanksgiving game on Thursday.

---End of Update---

Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith suffered an ankle injury, as ESPN's Matt Mosley reported.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Jimmy Burch filled us in on how the Cowboys handled his departure.

Kevin Ogletree

After sustaining a concussion in the team’s Sunday matchup against the Cleveland Browns (h/t Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com), young receiver Kevin Ogletree did not return to the game. His status for the team’s Thanksgiving game is in question.

DeMarcus Ware

There was another key injury for the Cowboys in this game, as ESPN's John Clayton reported.

Ware must have checked out all right because, as The Cleveland Plain Dealers' Mary Kay Cabot reports, Ware was back in and terrorizing the quarterback.

Denver Broncos

Omar Bolden

Rookie corner Omar Bolden is yet another player go down with concussion concerns.

CBS' Clark Judge shared the news.

Bolden will now have to clear the concussion protocol before returning to the field.

Willis McGahee

ESPN's John Clayton tweeted out this update on the running back.

At least it is a good sing that the knee was not bad enough for him to be immediately ruled out. However, he was eventually ruled out, as ESPN's Bill Williamson points out.

That would be defensive end Derek Wolfe, and he has yet to return.

Detroit Lions

Jeff Backus

The Lions picked up a painful loss to the Packers on Sunday, and they lost their left tackle in the process. CBS tweeted out the news.

The Oakland Press' Paula Pasche tweeted out the nature of the injury.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett reminds us all that Backus is having a rough time staying healthy.

He was not able to return.

Green Bay Packers

B.J. Raji

While the Green Bay Packers came out of this divisional matchup pretty healthy, star defensive tackle B.J. Raji aggravated an ankle injury, left the game and did not return, according to Mike Spofford of Packers.com.

The only injury reported after the game was to nose tackle B.J. Raji, who left the contest late with an ankle injury. Raji has dealt with an ankle injury previously this season. A further update should be coming Monday.

This is a huge blow for the Packers, but the team must play this injury smart going forward. As they have found out with Greg Jennings, it’s better to sit the star and get them healthy than try and start them too early and re-aggravate the injury.

Houston Texans

Johnathan Joseph

Star Houston Texans cornerback Johnathan Joseph suffered a hamstring injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars, did not return to the game after the first quarter and has been listed as questionable for Thursday’s Thanksgiving game, according to HoustonTexans.com’s Nick Scurfield:

Indianapolis Colts

Donnie Avery

The concussions are mounting. The USA Today's Mike Garafolo reported on one sustained by Donnie Avery.

I can't say with 100 percent certainty, but there is a good chance the concussion occurred on the pictured helmet-to-helmet contact.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Blaine Gabbert

The Jaguars tweeted out this update on their battered quarterback.

Gabbert's elbow must have gotten worse while he was out of the game. How else could you explain this update by Eugene Frenette he Florida Times-Union?

Gabbert did not return to the game.

Aaron Ross

The Jaguars tweeted out an injury woe that did not involve a quarterback as well.

The Houston Chronicle's Tania Ganguli tweeted more on this injury.

Kansas City Chiefs

Dwayne Bowe

The Associated Press' Dave Skretta brought us up to speed on injury the Chiefs could ill afford.

Skretta also added this:

While CBS brought us up to speed on the nature of the injury.

Bowe was not able to return.

New England Patriots

UPDATE: Sunday, Nov. 18, at 10:05 p.m. ET by Ben Chodos

Rob Gronkowski

The New England Patriots trounced the Indianapolis Colts 59-24 and their star tight end chipped in with two touchdowns. However, he left the game in the fourth quarter win an arm injury, and Pats fans feared the worst.

Their worries are now realities, and NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported the following on Gronk's injury.

The 23-year-old is currently leading the Patriots with 10 touchdown catches, and this is a massive blow to the New England offense.

New York Jets

Aaron Berry

The Jets tweeted out yet another injury concern.

The Jets' already thin defense must hope this is a minor quad concern.

Philadelphia Eagles

LeSean McCoy

The Washington Times Rich Campbell tweeted out some injury news that makes a sinking Eagles' season even more miserable.

However, the injury does not appear to be as serious as the stretcher suggested. Eagles Insider tweeted out this post-game news.

So add McCoy to the list of players who have to go through the concussion protocol.

Pittsburgh Steelers

UPDATE: Sunday, Nov. 18, at 10:05 p.m. ET by Ben Chodos

Isaac Redman

The Pittsburgh Steelers have had poor luck when it comes to the health of their running backs this season, and this trend continued as Isaac Redman was unable to finish the team's AFC North showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.

Redman had just one carry for five yards before suffering a concussion, as noted by NFL.com's Aditi Kinkhabwala.

Jonathan Dwyer and Rashard Mendenhall are the other running backs who will receive increased opportunities with Redman on the sidelines.

Wright did not return.

Brandon Meriweather

UPDATE: Monday, November 19, 8:40 a.m. ET by Donald Wood

After not returning to the team’s game Sunday, Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather claims that he could have returned to the game, but the team was playing it safe with his knee injury, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.

---End of Update---

In a terrible bit of injury news, it appears as if Brandon Meriweather re-injured the knee that has kept him out all season.

106.7 THE FAN's Grant Paulsen hit us with the news.

The NFL Network's Kimberly Jones added this.

Meriweather was playing great before his injury, too.
