WWE Survivor Series 2012: Complete Pay-Per-View Preview and Final Predictions
Tonight, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) presents one of its biggest pay-per-views of the year, Survivor Series at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN.
After Friday Night Smackdown, WWE has finally set its Survivor Series pay-per-view lineup card (via WWE.com).
Below is a full preview and final predictions on what will happen at Survivor Series:
3 MB vs. Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel in a pre-show match.
Your predicted winners: 3 MB. WWE has something to build on with 3 MB as a legitimate heel tag team group. Although Heath Slater may not be taken seriously just yet with his current gimmick, a victory at Survivor Series will be an important factor moving forward.
Eve vs. Kaitlyn for the WWE Divas Championship.
Your predicted winner and new Divas champion: Kaitlyn. At Survivor Series, Kaitlyn will finally move past her career setbacks to capture the title from Eve.
Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth for the WWE United States Championship.
Your predicted winner to retain the U.S. title: Antonio Cesaro. I would be disappointed to see the WWE take the U.S. title off of Cesaro, who has done some fine work since being champion. R-Truth, although talented himself, is in no position to win the title at the moment.
Your predicted winner: Team Foley. Recently on Twitter, Cody Rhodes revealed that he had suffered an injury, which will take him out of this match. With Team Ziggler down one person but likely to replace Rhodes at Survivor Series, Team Foley has some momentum heading into this match.
Look for the WWE to have the babyfaces capture the victory unless The Miz turns on his own team in favor for Ziggler.
The Big Show vs. Sheamus for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Your predicted winner to retain the World Heavyweight title: The Big Show. Big Show is still too early in his title reign to have it switch back to Sheamus. After WWE's prolonged story line between Sheamus and Del Rio, the ex-champion needs a break from the title picture, and a loss to the Big Show would make that happen.
CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Ryback for the WWE Championship.
Your predicted winner to retain the WWE title: CM Punk. Somehow, Punk will be able to beat the odds and have his arm raised at the end of the match. Punk should go into 2013 still the WWE champion. He has done some of the most remarkable work in his career in 2012.
